Too many women and men believe that people who display emotions at work can't control them. In fact, it's more important that you learn to use your emotions intentionally at work, than merely knowing how to turn them off or on.

Because emotional intelligence is often confused with emotions, women can come to believe that their natural emotional intelligence capabilities are more of a liability than a strength, but this couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, women who learn to master their emotional intelligence can advance in title, salary and responsibility more quickly than men.
