How much money is in your register? Make sure you are aware of how much you begin with and all transactions that need to be accounted for. The list below provides tips to ensure you properly manage the funds in your drawer.
Learn what your drawer starting fund should be
Based on that starting fund you should be able to calculate how much is short and/or needs to be deposited
Start off by counting all of the money in your register
If you have a deposit you will put it aside from your starting fund so that it can be deposited in the bank
Every POS is different but in every business you will have some form of deposit slip to complete
