Training needs to be fun and engaging. Sometimes that requires instructional designers to think outside the box. Often times the activities that seem the most trivial and information return the best results. In this article, John Meehan describes an activity that he invented where he encourages learners to get involved in the training rather than sit in place and listen to the facilitator. Creating simple activities that get your learners doing something out of the ordinary creates engaging training.
