Now that you’ve watched the videos, what is the takeaway? How do you apply one or two of the concepts to your work? Research shows that most of actual behavior change takes place on the job. In other words, how are you going to apply one of these ideas? To get the most out of the course, find a partner and keep each other accountable for trying to develop one new habit. Habit formation can take anywhere from about 18 days to 250 days. The important thing is to enact the habit on a regular basis until it becomes second nature. I recommend limiting yourself to changing one thing—why just one? Because the task is so challenging that I think you won’t have a chance if you’re doing more than one thing. So give it a try, find a colleague or partner to keep you accountable, and go for it!
